Case Study: Coleman Ag achieves accurate pesticide tracking and unified farm management with Agworld

A Agworld Case Study

Preview of the Coleman Ag Case Study

Innovation is key for Oregon’s largest hop growing operation

Coleman Ag, a Willamette Valley family operation managing over 8,000 acres (including roughly 2,000 acres of hops), needed to move pesticide and field records out of the office and into the hands of crews to meet state regulations and ensure safe re-entry intervals. They selected Agworld’s cloud-based, mobile farm management platform for its ease-of-use and ability to let senior managers, field managers and suppliers collaborate in the field.

Agworld was rolled out across the operation so teams enter data on-site; as a result Coleman Ag now captures accurate pesticide application records, creates all crop plans, tracks expenses and generates profitability reports. Using Agworld across managers, field staff and some suppliers improved oversight across their large operation, reduced duplicate data entry and delivered actionable business intelligence so Coleman Ag can see what was spent where and which fields are most profitable.
