H. V McNab & Son, a fifth‑generation Ardmona orchard managed by Mitchell McNab, was challenged by fragmented, manual record‑keeping that left the business without the real‑time information needed to plan, monitor agronomy, track labour and control costs across its 70‑hectare operation. To address gaps in tracking integrated pest management (IPM), spraying, harvest and packing, the grower adopted Agworld’s app‑based platform to capture, store and share production and operational data with staff and advisers.

Agworld was rolled out across planning, pruning and harvesting and used by staff and adviser Steve Booth to record tasks, products, locations and rates in real time, provide weekly activity updates and produce cost projections. By centralising data in Agworld, H. V McNab & Son can analyse operations and trends, make faster informed decisions, contain seasonal costs, reduce paperwork, simplify audits and improve on‑farm efficiencies — collectively supporting better profitability and strategic planning.
