Beartooth Fertilizer, a long-standing agribusiness serving Northern Wyoming, needed a better way to manage field mapping and preserve customer data after a computer crash wiped out five years of records. Before switching, the team had been using Google Earth Pro, which left them vulnerable to data loss and made it harder to keep field information organized year after year.

In 2018, Beartooth Fertilizer adopted AgTerra Technologies’ MapItFast, giving all operators mobile access to field maps and a centralized database for each customer and field. The company has since mapped more than 800 fields and plans to add Strider for real-time chemical input and fertilizer blends, improving accuracy, recordkeeping, and customer service.
