Thermex Ventilation Systems Chooses AGR for Inventory Optimisation

Thermex, a European ventilation systems company using Microsoft Dynamics NAV, needed a better way to manage a wide range of spare parts while reducing stock and maintaining high service levels. The company wanted more detailed inventory supply and sales reporting than its existing ERP planning tools could provide, and turned to AGR Dynamics for support.

AGR Dynamics implemented the AGR inventory optimisation solution without customisation in about three months, giving Thermex a user-friendly system for forecasting, ABC analysis, and inventory reporting. As a result, Thermex reduced stock levels by 38.5%, maintained a 98% service level, improved inventory turnover from 2.5 to 4.5, cut stock depreciation by more than 40%, and reduced its external warehouse space usage to 15% of previous levels.
