Søstrene Grene Improves Allocation Accuracy to its 250 Stores

Søstrene Grene, the Danish home goods retailer with more than 250 stores across Europe, needed a better way to allocate inventory to each location. With around 100 new items arriving every week and 60% of shipments made up of new products, the company was struggling to match stock levels to each store’s real demand using a one-size-fits-all approach based on sales budgets.

AGR Dynamics implemented its retail supply chain planning solution with MS Dynamics NAV, using sales history, forecasting, and product categorization to improve allocation accuracy. The new system helped Søstrene Grene better balance inventory and service levels, react faster to sales signals, improve demand forecasting, and reduce lost sales and excess stock, while making weekly distribution to 250 stores more precise and easier to manage.
