Otsuka Pharmaceutical Europe, part of the global Otsuka Pharmaceutical Group, needed a better way to manage complex inventory across multiple countries, product lines, and supply chain models. As the business expanded rapidly, manual data entry and disconnected planning tools made it difficult to maintain accurate stock visibility and support effective sales and operations planning. AGR Dynamics was brought in with its Inventory Optimiser and Sales Planner to help address these challenges.
AGR Dynamics implemented a fully integrated inventory management solution linked to Microsoft Dynamics NAV, with automated daily data feeds from internal and external sources. The new system gave Otsuka real-time visibility into stock levels, expiry dates, firm orders, sales history, and forecasts, while improving reporting, planning, and collaboration with partners. Within less than a year, Otsuka had replaced manual processes with automated runs, improved stock control, and gained efficiency benefits while maintaining high service levels.
