Case Study: ÁTVR achieves centralized purchasing and better inventory control with AGR Dynamics

A AGR Dynamics Case Study

Preview of the ATVR Case Study

Centralised purchasing and increased control of inventory with AGR

ÁTVR, the State Alcohol and Tobacco Monopoly of Iceland, manages 50 stores across the country, about 3,000 SKUs, and roughly 21 million litres of alcohol sold each year. Before working with AGR Dynamics, the company faced challenges with 50 store managers placing orders independently, limited visibility into purchasing and store performance, and frequent changes in its product assortment.

AGR Dynamics implemented its supply chain planning solution using data from Microsoft NAV to centralise purchasing and support forecasting and inventory control. By moving to a team of five specialists and basing decisions on system data rather than individual judgment, ÁTVR gained better control over inventory levels, turnover, service levels, and the flow of goods throughout the supply chain, while also improving overall visibility and professionalism in its processes.
