AWS - Customer Case Study

The customer, AWS, sought to identify and foster tech talent to accelerate digital innovation across Southeast Asia. They partnered with the vendor Agorize to use its platform for organizing a large-scale, fully online hackathon called AWS Hackdays Online. The challenge focused on generating new solutions in the areas of sustainability, learning & development, automation, and security.

Agorize implemented a complete online solution, adapting the event to be 100% virtual in response to the health crisis. The hackathon engaged 2,300 participants from 10 countries and resulted in seven winning teams presenting innovative prototypes. This successful event, run on the Agorize platform, allowed AWS to effectively build and engage with a vast startup community across the continent.
