Quinault Beach Resort and Casino, a 158-room coastal property owned by the Quinault Indian Nation in Ocean Shores, WA, faced chronic local IT staffing and labor challenges that made maintaining an onsite point-of-sale system costly and difficult. To modernize and reduce operational burden, the resort partnered with Agilysys to deploy the cloud-based InfoGenesis® POS across its food and beverage outlets.
Agilysys implemented InfoGenesis® POS so the system can be maintained remotely by a more cost-effective outside contractor, eliminating most onsite IT management and freeing physical space formerly occupied by property-based hardware. As a result, Quinault Beach Resort and Casino reports lower maintenance costs (“Not having to maintain the system onsite has saved us quite a bit of money”), faster vendor-based support, and additional room to add equipment, slot machines and expanded restaurant square footage.
