Xavier University, a private university in Cincinnati with more than 4,000 undergraduates, needed to manage dozens of alumni and donor events and the communications around them. Using Banner as its ERP, Xavier adopted Agilon’s One for Events Management (and later Agilon’s Constituent Connection fundraising portal) to handle event logistics; when a severe winter storm threatened a major pre-game donor event, the university had to cancel and notify over 450 attendees quickly and safely.

Agilon’s event management tools let staff pull complete attendee records—emails and phone numbers—and send cancellation notices remotely, enabling the team to communicate with all 450+ guests from home and avoid hazardous travel. By using Agilon, Xavier delivered timely outreach without in-person effort, preserved donor relations, and ensured attendee safety while streamlining event communications.
