Suffolk University, a student-centered institution in downtown Boston, faced an inefficient, all-paper contract process that required manual logging, circulation, and scanning through multiple offices. The lack of a central, searchable system meant staff couldn’t quickly check contract status or urgency, creating delays and heavy administrative burden for the Treasurer’s and General Counsel’s offices.
Suffolk implemented Agiloft’s Contract Management solution in 2015, rolling it out to 85 users across 60 departments. The automated, flexible system streamlined submission and approval workflows, enabled online legal review, made historic records and status updates readily accessible, and eliminated many manual steps—freeing legal staff for higher-value work and delivering faster, more transparent contract management.
