Safe Horizon, the largest victim services non-profit in the U.S., supports more than 250,000 people a year but was hampered by an antiquated, paper-based contract and payment process. Eight different hard-copy contract types, manual cross-department approvals, and no centralized tracking led to lost requests, lapsed renewals, and heavy administrative burden on legal, finance, and purchasing teams.

In July 2016 Safe Horizon deployed Agiloft’s CLM—going live in under 80 hours and integrating with DocuSign while hosting on its own servers—to centralize contracts, automate workflows, and enable renewal alerts and reporting. The flexible, low-code solution sped approvals, restored visibility and accountability, reduced custom development needs, freed staff to focus on mission work, and set the stage for rollout across 59 departments.
