Commercial Bank, a KBA member, faced the complete destruction of its main facility after a devastating tornado outbreak in March 2012. With the building reduced to an unstable pile of debris, the bank's immediate challenges were restoring security, power, and communications to resume operations. The bank partnered with Agility Recovery to implement a disaster recovery solution.

Agility Recovery worked with the bank's management to quickly find space in a county-owned building and set up a telephone co-op. Despite challenges with access and staffing, Commercial Bank was able to limit transactions and become operational again by the following Monday morning. The vendor, Agility Recovery, enabled the bank to adapt its operations across four separate facilities to overcome the disaster.
