Embedding Excellent Information Governance in the Public Sector

The customer, a public sector information governance body, faced significant challenges in prioritizing and implementing effective information governance (IG) practices. These included a lack of organizational commitment, difficulty finding a balanced approach between information lockdown and careless sharing, and the complexity of managing information during major transformations. The vendor, Agilisys, was engaged to help address these issues and embed a culture of excellent IG.

Agilisys implemented its Information Governance Health Check service to serve as a critical friend and provide a snapshot of the current IG landscape.
