FICO streamlines global license management across 22 countries with Agilis Software

FICO, a corporation whose FICO® scores are the global standard for consumer credit risk assessment, faced a challenge in managing the complex, volume-based licenses for its product installations worldwide. Their end-customers often had no direct internet access and limited IT resources, requiring a secure and sophisticated licensing solution that was straightforward to implement. They partnered with vendor Agilis Software to address this.

Agilis Software implemented its Orion Network Licensing Platform, which used an offline activation mechanism to securely track usage data at customer sites and periodically upload it via a web browser. The solution provided robust security, met strict performance requirements, and gave FICO comprehensive auditing and reporting capabilities. The implementation was successful, with the first installations in 2008 going smoothly, and Orion became the standard for all future FICO score deployments.
