Streamlining a Global Firm’s Tax Process Workflows

AgileThought helped Global Tax Firm modernize a legacy tax process application used across a global practice spanning 158 countries. The firm needed to replace an outdated, error-prone system that was limited to on-prem environments, lacked version control, supported only Internet Explorer, and made it difficult to manage client-specific workflows, fix bugs, and deliver consistent user experiences.

AgileThought re-architected the application with Microsoft’s SharePoint App Model, using CSOM, AngularJS, and Azure DevOps to create a single code base that works across on-prem and cloud environments. The new solution added automated builds, agile delivery, modern browser support, and easier deployment to more than 80 clients, while improving collaboration and cutting task navigation time from 30 seconds or more to 5–10 seconds.
