Case Study: a leading retailer improves secure data access and reduces lag time with AgileThought

A AgileThought Case Study

Leading Retailer Trusts AgileThought to Provide Secure Management for Accessing Data

Leading Retailer worked with AgileThought to solve a global access challenge after opening an office in China to support supply chain logistics and purchasing. Because security protocols prevented the China team from accessing real-time data or making updates, employees had to rely on U.S.-based users to process requests manually, creating delays of at least 24 hours. AgileThought helped the retailer manage secure access to core systems while maintaining data integrity and security.

AgileThought designed and implemented a web-based application using Jenkins automation and Pivotal Cloud Foundry to apply privileged access management principles and limit users to only the data they needed. The solution gave the China team real-time access without weakening security controls, reduced lag time from 24 hours, and lowered organizational risk. AgileThought completed the project in six months with a six-person team despite both sides learning the new technologies during the engagement.
