A financial services company implemented the AgilePoint Suite in 2005 to equip its IT development team to support the firm’s planned growth over the next 5–10 years. The immediate challenge was to rapidly onboard business users and IT staff, establish governance and priorities, and deliver high-quality, productive customer-facing applications to meet expanding business needs.

The company formed a management committee, installed AgilePoint Envision for business users, and trained staff to draft and prioritize processes. Using five developers plus on-site AgilePoint consultants, they built a financial customer-service application that went live within three months; responsibilities were then split between two senior developers managing AgilePoint components and three developers building applications. By 2007 they had six AgilePoint applications running, maintaining service quality and productivity with the same IT team.
