GVTC Communications Gains New Competitive Edge Using AgilePoint Process-Centric Applications

GVTC Communications, a full-service provider to more than 40,000 customers in South Central Texas, launched a new enterprise Ethernet line but found its legacy order-processing systems unable to support the new technical and contractual requirements. Work relied on multiple documents, shared drives and Excel spreadsheets, which created task duplication, errors, poor visibility, missed SLAs and the risk of financial penalties.

GVTC implemented AgilePoint process‑centric applications and eForms to replace Master ASR spreadsheets, consolidate data into a single SQL process database, and provide a SharePoint dashboard plus PC/mobile access and automated notifications. The result was an automated end‑to‑end order fulfillment workflow that ensured compliance and audibility, improved data integrity, collaboration and visibility, reduced penalty risk and provided a scalable foundation for future integrations and growth.
