The University of Notre Dame, working with vendor Agile Fleet, faced inefficient, paper‑based fleet operations—managing 300 vehicles and a 20‑vehicle motor pool with spreadsheets, paper forms and manual reporting. Their goals were to increase efficiency, reduce paperwork, automate reservations and maintenance tracking, enable effective reporting, and improve customer service using Agile Fleet’s FleetCommander solution.

Agile Fleet implemented FleetCommander to centralize reservations, provide online receipts and confirmations, track odometers, automate maintenance communications and consolidate vehicle records. As a result Notre Dame now manages its 300‑vehicle fleet and 20‑vehicle motor pool digitally, has eliminated manual receipt processing, gained quick access to utilization and maintenance data for right‑sizing decisions, and improved customer service through faster, automated workflows.
