Case Study: Indiana University improves fleet efficiency with Agile Fleet

A Agile Fleet Case Study

Preview of the Indiana University Case Study

Indiana University - Customer Case Study

Indiana University managed a 45-vehicle motor pool and about 800 departmental vehicles, including off-road vehicles and construction equipment. After previously outsourcing the motor pool, the university found that some vehicles were too luxurious for its actual needs, especially for rugged use at its Geological Field Station in Montana, where costly damage and tire replacements had become a problem.

With Agile Fleet’s FleetCommander system, Indiana University brought motor pool management back in-house and automated reservations, billing, reporting, key management, and user management. The university reduced its fleet from 65 vehicles to 45, improved policy enforcement, cut toll management and personal vehicle reimbursement work, and used customer feedback to guide vehicle choices and service decisions.
