Agile App developed a mobile app for Indra Renewable Technologies Ltd. to overcome a significant challenge in their EV charger installation process. The client needed a way for installers to reliably configure their BeagleBone-based chargers via mobile devices, but no off-the-shelf Bluetooth solution existed, leading to a slow and error-prone setup that risked failed installations and delays.

The solution from Agile App involved creating a custom mobile app for both iOS and Android that bridged the gap to the embedded hardware. They developed custom Tcl scripting for the charger and implemented robust Bluetooth communication protocols on the mobile side. This resulted in a seamless installer app that significantly reduced installation times, provided real-time diagnostics, and enabled reliable, cross-platform provisioning of EV chargers.
