Luxith G.i.e launches a national imaging archive across 4 hospital groups with Agfa HealthCare

The customer, Luxith G.i.e, an economic interest group representing Luxembourg's hospital sector, faced the challenge of creating a unified national medical imaging platform to enable image sharing and collaboration across the country's four separate hospital groups. They partnered with vendor Agfa HealthCare to implement a solution built on its Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) and XERO Universal Viewer.

Agfa HealthCare provided a centralized, vendor-neutral archive that securely hosts images from all 15 hospital sites. The solution successfully integrated with the national eSanté portal, allowing health professionals to easily access patient images through a shared medical file. This enhanced collaboration, reduced the need for repeat imaging, and freed up archiving infrastructure at the individual hospitals.
