The customer, Browser Use, an open-source framework for AI agents that control web browsers, faced a challenge where its agents were unable to complete tasks that required email verification, such as signing up for services or handling two-factor authentication codes. This forced a human to intervene, halting autonomous operation. They partnered with the vendor, AgentMail, to solve this problem.

The solution implemented by AgentMail was to provide every Browser Use Cloud session with its own, pre-loaded email inbox with zero configuration required. This allowed browser agents to autonomously receive verification emails, confirm accounts, and maintain a persistent identity across sessions. As a result, agents can now complete the full spectrum of web tasks without human intervention. The integration is used across Browser Use's large user base, which includes many Fortune 500 and Y Combinator teams.
