The customer, Alchemy, faced a challenge with its AgentCard product, which provides AI agents with one-time-use credit cards. Agents could not complete online purchases without a dedicated email address to receive receipts, confirmations, and verification codes. Alchemy needed a way to programmatically provide each agent with its own inbox and turned to the vendor, AgentMail, for a solution.

AgentMail provided its API-driven email service to integrate inboxes directly into the AgentCard product. This gave every agent a functional email address by default, enabling them to complete transactions and handle post-purchase communication. As a result of implementing AgentMail, Alchemy saw a ~70% increase in agentic transactions.
