Royal Thai Air Force enhances air base security with Agent Vi on 32 cameras

The Royal Thai Air Force needed to enhance security at their main air base at Don Muang Airport. Their challenge was to automatically detect unauthorized human intrusion and stationary vehicles in restricted zones using their existing camera infrastructure, all under difficult conditions like low light and long distances. They turned to Agent Vi and its Vi-System real-time video analytics software for a solution.

Agent Vi implemented its software on the existing surveillance system, enabling detections for person crossing, movement, and stopped vehicles. The solution was so successful, detecting multiple security breaches and enabling rapid response, that it was expanded from an initial 8 cameras to a total of 32. The measurable impact was a greatly enhanced security posture, moving staff from passive monitoring to active response. Agent Vi's system performed reliably in challenging conditions, leading to plans for further expansion.
