Major UK Bank needed to upgrade its out-of-support IBM Integration Bus (IIB) software used in its critical ESB Payment Transformation Platform, supporting business-critical services including Open Banking, Currency, Mortgage, Insurance and Banking APIs. Agenor Technology was brought in to address compatibility issues with related tools such as VCS and Introscope, while keeping the bank’s payments environment stable and fully available throughout the project.

Agenor Technology delivered a phased upgrade to IIB V10 across test and production environments, including 240+ integration nodes on 68 Linux servers, and customised supporting tools such as UCD, Bamboo, TeamCity and WebAdmin. The work upgraded dependent software, removed extended support costs, and introduced a fix that saves the bank around 30 man days per year, with zero customer impacts or attributable incidents.
