Agenor Technology partners with Borders College to deliver a major Digital Transformation Programme

Borders College partnered with Agenor Technology to address a major Digital Transformation Programme after recognising that its digital estate was no longer supporting the college’s strategic ambitions. The college faced disconnected systems, poor data quality, inconsistent user experience, and gaps in IT operations, while also needing to modernise key services such as its MIS, VLE, website, payments gateway, and underlying infrastructure.

Agenor Technology led the programme and delivered a mix of SaaS and infrastructure changes, including migration of 33 servers to the cloud, a new SaaS-based MIS and VLE, a redesigned accessible website with online payments, and support for Microsoft 365 adoption. The result was a successful, on-time, on-scope transformation with improved resilience, restored executive confidence, and measurable impact including 83 courses moved to the new VLE, 70 Microsoft 365 support sessions delivered, and Borders College becoming the first college in Scotland to adopt selected SaaS MIS applications.
