North Dakota University System boosts vaccination awareness with Agency MABU

The North Dakota University System (NDUS) wanted to encourage its students to learn more about vaccine-preventable diseases and break through widespread misinformation and apathy. They engaged Agency MABU to develop a campaigns and advertising solution that would empower students to make informed health choices regarding MMR, meningitis, flu, and COVID vaccines.

Agency MABU's solution was to deconstruct traditional public health messaging by creating a unique stop-motion animation campaign. They crumpled and photographed handmade, collage-style ads piece by piece to create surprising and engaging graphics. The campaign successfully drove students to conduct their own research, with the NDUS Director of Communications praising the work as unique, insightful, and dynamic for their specific audience.
