ND State Historical Society launches a 6-minute 360° night sky experience with Agency MABU

The ND State Historical Society partnered with Agency MABU to develop a unique online exhibit. Their challenge was to create an immersive and interactive 360° experience that would allow users to explore the state's night sky, navigable via a standard computer mouse or VR headset, while watching an educational video.

Agency MABU's solution involved capturing panoramic photography on location and combining it with NASA imagery to create a 360° view of the night sky. They then animated various scenes and produced a six-minute narrated video within this virtual space. The result was a fully interactive experience that guides visitors to find and explore constellations, meteorites, and other celestial phenomena.
