Atlanta Public Schools sought to increase student growth in key math and reading skills, including fluency, phonics, and number sense, at Usher-Collier Elementary School. To address this challenge, they implemented the My Math Academy and My Reading Academy programs from Age of Learning.

Age of Learning’s adaptive programs were used multiple days a week in kindergarten and 1st-grade classes, giving students personalized learning paths. By using the software for just 20 minutes per week, students achieved significant gains. The gap to grade-level readiness was narrowed by 71% in math and 67% in reading, dramatically reducing the percentage of students performing below target.
