Why AgDNA is a Platform that’s used every day

Goldman Equipment LLC, a Louisiana John Deere dealer, needed a way to differentiate its precision ag offerings and give growers a single, daily-use farm management solution. In 2014 they partnered with AgDNA to deploy the AgDNA Platform, an IoT-enabled, cloud-based precision farming service that handles AB lines, setup files, financials and weather data alongside traditional prescription and soil tools.

AgDNA implemented an automated sensor- and machine-data workflow that streams inputs to growers’ online accounts, supplements them with operation-specific financials, and automatically tracks every liter of chemical, ton of fertilizer and bag of seed applied. As a result, Goldman Equipment LLC tripled the number of customers using the AgDNA Platform since 2014, streamlined their precision-ag services (replacing multiple specialized software packages), and established a clear point of difference in the local market.
