A AgDNA Case Study
Tennessee Tractor, a progressive John Deere large‑ag dealership with 10 store locations, faced the challenge of managing large volumes of fragmented farm data across many customers — spreadsheets and disconnected third‑party tools made accurate record keeping, input tracking and decision support slow and error‑prone. In 2015 Tennessee Tractor adopted the AgDNA Platform to unify financial records, farm inventory, yield analysis and other precision‑ag data into a single system.
Using the AgDNA Platform, Tennessee Tractor consolidated data, used product databases and merging tools, and deployed features like Grain Tracking with photographic ticketing and mobile access to field records. AgDNA enabled customers to identify seed varieties that would gain or lose $50–$100/acre (saving $3,750–$7,500 on a 75‑acre field), recover a $6,000 unpaid crop load, detect a 24 bu/acre fungicide yield difference and net $50/acre in input savings — overall reporting savings of upwards of $100/acre and stronger dealer‑customer relationships.
