Syngenta, the global agriculture company, needed a better way to store and share employee documents, certificates, diplomas, and skills records. Before AG5, its Excel-based skills matrices and scattered logbooks created gaps in training oversight, which contributed to a costly mistake where the wrong seed types were mixed.

Syngenta implemented AG5’s skills management software to centrally store qualifications and let employees access their own skills portfolios through an app. With AG5, the company has defined more than 68 skills, improved visibility into development opportunities, and can now prove training completion and certification status while tracking expirations in advance, saving time and money.
