Euclid Beverage toasts to inventory control with AFS Warehouse Management

Euclid Beverage LLC, a wholesale beer distributor, faced growing warehouse and inventory-control challenges as operations became more critical to its supply chain. To improve visibility, communication with MillerCoors and eliminate manual key-in processes, Euclid Beverage LLC partnered with AFS Technologies to implement the AFS Warehouse Management System (WMS) and develop inbound advanced shipment notifications (ASNs).

AFS Technologies deployed its rules-based WMS with voice- and RF-directed picking and ASN integration, driving cases picked to 240 per hour (increasing throughput from 27,000 to 50,000 cases in the same timeframe), improving picking accuracy and customer satisfaction, and dramatically reducing labor costs. The AFS implementation also delivered better daily and month-end inventory reconciliation, tighter shrinkage control and overall inventory visibility, supported by AFS’ measurable results (up to 40% labor reduction, up to 37% lower inventory handling costs, and up to 25% improvements in space utilization and delivery accuracy).
