Caribbean Produce Exchange Complements ERP System with AFS Technologies’ Warehouse Management Solution

Caribbean Produce Exchange, the leading distributor of fresh fruit and vegetables in Puerto Rico with over $85 million in annual sales, faced increasing warehouse complexity—about 95% of its products arrive in overseas containers—and needed better inventory accuracy, traceability and fulfillment. To meet those challenges, Caribbean Produce Exchange elected to add AFS Technologies’ AFS Warehouse Management System (WMS) to complement its existing AFS ERP.

AFS Technologies implemented the AFS WMS integrated with the company’s ERP to streamline data flow and automate warehouse processes while ensuring Produce Traceability (PTI) compliance. The AFS Technologies solution improved inventory accuracy and order fulfillment, enabled expiration-date tracking, eliminated physical inventory errors and increased productivity, helping the company prevent errors and rising costs as it grows.
