AFS Retail Execution enables Carlsberg to reduce order-taking Time and out of Stocks

Carlsberg Breweries (Baltics) needed to replace an aging Windows Mobile retail execution system used by hundreds of field reps across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. After a due diligence process, Carlsberg selected AFS and its AFS Retail Execution solution to move to a multi‑platform, mobile-friendly platform that would eliminate paper, support SAP integration, meet hosting/security requirements, and better align with Carlsberg’s long‑term strategy.

AFS implemented AFS Retail Execution in a phased rollout completed in under six months with a smooth July 2014 go‑live. The AFS solution — hosted and supported by AFS — made the app 3–4× faster, reduced order‑taking time, enabled electronic planograms, photos and rich surveys, improved order/route stability, delivered fast KPIs for management, lowered support overhead, and helped decrease out‑of‑stocks while boosting field productivity.
