Timeline TV managed post-production for Channel 4’s drama The Mill, coordinating footage from multiple contributors and camera formats for a geographically dispersed team. Their main challenge was collecting, viewing and distributing high-resolution dailies to many collaborators quickly and securely, with no special hardware, training or delays from physical file movement.

They implemented Aframe’s cloud video platform to automate high‑res media ingest, use UDP transfers into Avid workflows, and generate browser-playable proxies for review and timecode-accurate notes. This enabled remote logging, rapid decision-making (avoiding costly re-shoots when a lighting concern was resolved in post), faster end-to-end transfers, reduced courier/security costs, and simple, secure collaboration—prompting Timeline TV to reuse the platform on subsequent projects.
