Tiger Aspect - Customer Case Study

Tiger Aspect Productions, part of the Endemol Group and maker of hits like Mr. Bean and Peaky Blinders, produced the fact-based drama Marvellous, which required an unconventional, scrapbook-style edit and sensitive handling of mental-health subject matter. The production needed rapid, location‑agnostic dailies review and close collaboration between multiple locations (shooting around Stoke-on-Trent with editing in London), putting pressure on executives and edit teams to access, annotate and manage large volumes of footage securely and quickly.

Aframe provided a central cloud platform that ingested multi-format dailies, delivered frame‑accurate playback in a browser or mobile device, and let assistants upload QuickTimes from Avid within minutes. Secure expiring links, an encrypted desktop uploader, permission controls and an activity dashboard kept IP safe while enabling remote review and downloads — freeing producers to focus on storytelling. The result was a higher-quality programme that won accolades (including a BAFTA) and is now used by the NHS and charities for training, while collaborators benefited from faster transfers and simpler cross‑location workflows.
