Palisades Tahoe, the largest ski resort in California, wanted to make big-ticket purchases like lift tickets, passes, lodging, lessons, and rentals more accessible while encouraging guests to commit to bookings earlier in the season. To address this challenge, the resort partnered with Affirm and added pay-over-time options directly into its checkout flow through its ski resort management platform.
With Affirm, Palisades Tahoe ran a 0% APR promotion during the key Black Friday-to-Christmas booking period, supported across paid ads, landing pages, product pages, email, and its app. The results were strong: Affirm bookings rose 205% year over year during the period, and 0% APR bookings made up more than 84% of total Affirm volume. The promotion also increased the share of customers booking with Affirm from 51% to 84%, helping Palisades Tahoe pre-commit more revenue ahead of ski season.
