Leesa, the direct-to-consumer mattress brand, needed a way to make $500–$1,000 purchases feel more attainable—especially for Millennials, many of whom don’t carry credit cards. To address that barrier, Leesa partnered with Affirm to offer transparent installment financing at checkout, using Affirm’s Shopify integration to present clear, trust-building monthly payment options.
Affirm’s solution was A/B tested on Leesa’s site and delivered measurable results: shoppers were 4.5% more likely to add a mattress to their cart, conversion rates rose by about 8.25–8.3%, and revenue per visitor increased 8.7%. Those gains, plus the fast, simple Affirm implementation, helped Leesa boost acquisition and sales performance.
