CEFALY Technology, maker of the CEFALY wearable device for migraine relief and prevention, faced customer barriers to purchase as many people experiencing migraines could not wait or afford to buy when they needed relief. To reduce that friction, CEFALY Technology partnered with Affirm to offer pay-over-time financing — including no-fee, 0% APR options and plans up to 36 months — so customers could access treatment without added financial stress.

Affirm was integrated seamlessly on CEFALY’s site to provide a “treat now, pay later” option, which lowered purchase hesitation and expanded access during the pandemic. The partnership drove measurable results: sales using Affirm showed a 15% higher average order value (Oct 2020–Apr 2021) compared with non-Affirm orders, helped attract new customers, and enabled more people to obtain the CEFALY device for migraine relief.
