The Stage, one of the world’s longest-standing theatre publications, needed to replace a patchwork of disconnected systems with a simpler, more coherent digital experience. Working with Affino’s SaaS platform, the team set out to consolidate content, subscriptions, payments, and member engagement into a single environment while improving structure, presentation, and workflow.
Affino delivered an end-to-end redesign and replatforming, including data migration from multiple payment systems, subscription automation, richer content organization, and a more immersive interface across devices. The new site drove strong results: homepage traffic rose 342% year-on-year from April to August, search traffic increased 30%, direct traffic grew 7%, page views were up 38%, pages per session increased 20%, subscription engagement rose 257%, new website subscriptions grew 143%, and total subscriptions increased 21%.
