Premier Fruits, the UK's largest independent wholesaler of fresh produce, faced significant inefficiencies due to its reliance on a completely manual system for record-keeping, invoicing, and order processing. This time-consuming process prompted Managing Director Jason Tanner to seek a computerized solution from vendor Affinitus Group Ltd to automate operations and free up staff for more productive tasks.

The vendor, Affinitus Group Ltd, implemented its Freshware ERP system to computerize the company's operations. The solution initially required a significant adjustment but ultimately succeeded in making the company far more efficient. Staff universally preferred the new system over manual tickets. The later addition of the Chefserve module, which interfaced with scales, saved an estimated four to five hours of labor per night by automating weight updates, representing a tremendous success for Premier Fruits.
