Puget Sound Orthopedics operates three busy clinics with 27 providers who frequently move between sites, leaving patients and staff unsure which doctors are on-site each day. The practice needed a faster, less interruptive way to communicate provider availability, so they partnered with Aerva to deploy a cloud-based digital signage solution and in-waiting-room message boards.

Aerva implemented a network of digital displays driven by its cloud platform and web-based interface so staff can update rosters from any browser. The system lets office coordinator Amy Isaksen make instant schedule changes from anywhere, reduces staff frustration, speeds patient flow, and shortens check-in and wait times; screens also show real-time time/date/weather feeds. Puget Sound Orthopedics is now expanding content (short provider video bios) using Aerva’s playlist scheduler to further improve the patient experience.
