Maybelline New York ran a Times Square digital out-of-home takeover (April 2–15) to promote a “Russian Girls Win New York” contest, inviting ordinary girls to upload photos via Facebook and VK for a chance to be featured and voted on. The challenge was to showcase entrants on the Times Square billboard, enable live voting by passersby, and keep remote participants in Russia engaged in real time — a capability provided by Aerva’s digital out-of-home / livestream technology.

Aerva supplied the livestream video and content-delivery solution that let viewers in Russia watch the Clear Channel Spectacolor billboard in real time while hourly video presentations of entrants were pushed to the display 24/7. Combined with on-site promoters and an HD cam that drew crowds, Aerva’s platform enabled continuous, real-time interaction and boosted participation during the April 2–15 campaign, with the voting culminating in a winner who will receive a trip to New York.
