Fairfield University needed a faster, more cohesive way to reach 4,000+ students, staff and visitors across its 200-acre Connecticut campus—posters were costly and slow, emails were often unread, and printed materials conflicted with the school’s green goals. To solve this communication gap, Fairfield turned to Aerva and its AerWave cloud-based digital signage platform to deliver timely, attention-grabbing messages campus-wide.

Aerva implemented AerWave’s browser-based content management with role-based permissions, location-specific domains and customizable templates, enabling departments to create and share targeted messaging quickly. The system now powers 16 digital signage monitors and a large video wall (with seven units in the campus center alone), boosting student engagement, reducing the cost/time/waste of printed materials, and providing a consistent visual identity across campus.
