BP Connect in New Zealand wanted to better engage customers and drive sales through in-store and pump-top digital displays across its convenience stores. To do this, BP Connect selected Aerva’s Customer Engagement platform — using the cloud-based AerWave Enterprise solution managed by partner Ngage Media — to deliver dynamic, real-time content and targeted promotions at POS and on pump screens.

Aerva’s platform enabled central control and geo/day-part targeting across the national network, creating a new advertising revenue stream and measurable promotional impact: a one-week Doritos campaign produced a 171% week‑on‑week sales lift, grew Doritos’ share of the chips category from 6% to 15%, and increased the salty category by 8% week‑on‑week. The BP Connect network reaches an average audience of 3.6 million monthly (about 1.6 million unique), and BP is now expanding digital development into additional consumer touch points using Aerva.
