APN Outdoor selected Aerva to power its digital signage deployment at Auckland Airport, using Aerva’s AerWave software to replace its legacy platform. APN Outdoor faced the challenge of centrally managing a complex, high-resolution network of screens across international and domestic terminals—72 displays in total—to reach 15 million annual travelers (and 38 million people in the airport corridor yearly) while offering advertisers more interactive, flexible digital campaigns.
Aerva delivered its cloud-enabled AerWave platform (configured locally by reseller Ngage Media) to operate 4K, video wall, portrait and landscape screens, enable real-time mobile and social interactivity, and simplify content scheduling and campaign management. The solution powers New Zealand’s largest LED digital billboards, supports high-profile advertisers like Huawei, Vodafone and Corona, and gives APN Outdoor a scalable, cost-effective way to run sophisticated campaigns for millions of annual visitors, positioning the company to capture growth in the $15 billion, rapidly expanding digital-out-of-home market.
