Pearl River Community College faced a significant challenge with duct leakage in two new dormitory buildings. After years of failed manual sealing attempts, the college could not close out the construction project due to inaccessible leaks in the internally lined ductwork. The school enlisted Aeroseal to address this persistent issue.

Aeroseal implemented its sealing technology to seal the ductwork from the inside, overcoming the challenges posed by the fiberglass liner and inaccessible areas. The solution achieved a 66% reduction in leakage, bringing it down from 19,190.4 CFM to 3,409.9 CFM. This resulted in significant energy savings and an overall improvement in energy performance for the buildings.
